The Lions – The Big Cat Collection
The Big Cat Collection was originally created to raise awareness for big cats in captivity. Each lion is handmade with love by their small Cape Town team, supporting both local artisans and wildlife conservation.
- Each lion teddy is handmade in Cape Town.
- Approximate size: 20–25 cm tall (perfect as a keepsake or gift).
- Made from locally sourced, sustainable, donated fabric materials.
- Safety eyes are used.
- Fake fur is used.
- Each lion has a tag around the neck explaining this (see ref pic attached).
- Raises awareness about the exploitation of big cats in captivity.
- Provides ongoing support to sanctuaries that give these animals a safe home.
- Creates local job opportunities through the craft of each handmade lion.
Every lion purchased helps cover food, medical care, and habitat upkeep.

The Rhinos – Raising Rhino Rands
We donate our fabric offcuts to Raising Rhino Rands, an organisation that transforms these materials into beautiful handcrafted rhinos. Each rhino sold helps fund critical rhino conservation projects, from anti-poaching patrols to habitat protection.
This collaboration ensures that nothing goes to waste — every leftover piece of fabric becomes part of a greater story: saving one of Africa’s most endangered species.
